I thought you might be interested to know that the Weekender drew a significant amount of attention at the Hunt trek at the weekend.

I had barely been there an hour and people were asking to see through it. It is on the wish list of many. In spite of a 20 minute hold up to go over Mount Messenger and a drive time of more than 3 hours my horse stood still the whole way. The road in is not what I would call an easy drive, it climbs quite high and lots of twists and turns and I doubt if I will be going on roads any more challenging than that with a horse on board.

I have to admit to being a little anxious about the weekend, travelling alone, with all the new things to remember and not sure how my young horse would respond to the crowd of 50 or so horses. I so enjoyed the comfort and facilities of the living area. The folder with instructions for how things work is a very practical and user friendly resource. I had been shown how things worked but it was good to have the fine detail and diagrams to check.

Great shower by the way with great pressure and hot water and pretty good loo….the important basics! it’s the flexibility between the living and horse bay we really like, the horse bay converts into a big soundproofed wet room well away from the living.
